Position Summary:

The Marketing Director is a strategic leader responsible for aligning marketing efforts with overall business objectives. With a deep understanding of the food ingredients and CPG industry, they drive successful marketing campaigns, assist with customer/supplier presentations, oversee all artwork/graphics development, foster brand growth, and contribute to the companys success.


Essential Functions:

  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing and art professionals.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of our comprehensive marketing strategies to help drive company growth.
  • Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and achieving ROI targets.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and inspire collaboration to ensure alignment and synergy across the organization.
  • Collaborate with senior management to define and execute long-term project goals.
  • Oversee all project management related to marketing and artwork, create and monitor project timelines, delegate as needed, and finish projects on time.
  • Collaborate with internal Divisions on art & marketing strategy, presentations, tradeshows.
  • Manage and oversee the tradeshow calendar and the successful execution of each.
  • Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, social media and public relations, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.
  • Develop strategies to expand into new markets or product categories.
  • Manage the development and implementation of a comprehensive digital marketing strategy, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media, and email marketing.
  • Develop and oversee the creation of high-quality content that aligns with the brands messaging and target audience.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Oversee and contribute to brand identify, creating and developing one that resonates with target audiences.
  • Track and analyze marketing performance metrics to ensure goals are met and measure ROI.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the art & marketing team to drive new product launches and marketing initiatives.
  • Direct company website development to ensure alignment with overall marketing strategy, support company initiatives and provide a seamless user experience.

Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years experience in Marketing Management with responsibility in general marketing, communication or graphic design.

Leadership and people management experience.

Experience driving marketing strategy using standard principles, brand management, market research, digital marketing and public relations.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Understanding of food ingredients and CPG product marketing, with a focus on market trends, regulations and consumer behavior.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage, motivate and develop a team of marketing professionals.
  • Understanding of marketing budgets, ROI analysis, and financial metrics.
  • Proficiency in conducting market research and analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Expertise in digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM social media and content marketing.
  • Ability to generate innovative marketing ideas and campaigns.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey marketing strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously, driving the team to success.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions, creatively problem solve and make informed decisions based on data and analysis.
