Salary: $35,000 Annually

HireUp Talent is seeking a Social Media Specialist to produce, optimize, and publish artistic and impactful marketing content across a variety of digital and print media. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire creative process, from concept development to final execution, ensuring that content aligns with brand strategy and engages the target audience.

Remote with Travel (Must reside in AL, AZ, IL, FL, MD, MT, NC, NJ, NY, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA)

This role requires atop-tier designer and copywriter with experience creating compelling content for social media, print, video, web, advertisements, and presentations. The specialist will craft high-quality, informative, and action-driven content while upholding the organizations brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Design

  • Develop strategic, innovative, and visually compelling designs that align with the companys branding and objectives.
  • Create engaging brochures, workbooks, email designs, infographics, social ads, internal briefings, website content, presentations, and videos.
  • Write, review, edit, and update content for websites, blogs, marketing materials, interviews, and corporate communications.
  • Ensure all designs and copy align with the organizations brand identity, tone, and messaging.

Marketing & Social Media Management

  • Support and maintain brand consistency across all written and visual communications.
  • Manage content uploads and image assets in a digital asset library.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to develop and track marketing plans, providing creative insights and solutions.
  • Stay up to date with marketing trends, digital media innovations, and social media best practices.

Training & Educational Content Development

  • Assist in the development of training programs, learning materials, and client-based curriculums.
  • Design and produce interactive content, educational aids, workbooks, assessments, and exams.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to create visually appealing instructional materials for internal and external audiences.

Project & Brand Management

  • Oversee multiple projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with external designers, contractors, and vendors as needed.
  • Balance brand standards with creativity and innovation while delivering high-quality content.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience

  • 3- 4 years of experience in graphic design, copywriting, and content development.
  • Experience in digital video, motion graphics, web design, and interactive media (preferred).

Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Strong design and copywriting skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office, and various social media platforms.
  • Understanding of online publishing, social media trends, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Experience balancing brand consistency with creative innovation.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
  • Experience with government policy and contracts (preferred).

Travel Requirements

  • Minimal travel may be required for staff training and stakeholder engagement nationwide.
