Human Resources Coordinator (Payroll Focus) A respected nonprofit organization in New Britain, CT is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to assist HR functions. The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for processing payroll for 200 employees , ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting key HR initiatives.

Process biweekly payroll accurately and timely for 200 employees
Maintain payroll records, deductions, and tax filings
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Support recruitment efforts, onboarding, and employee relations
Assist with HR compliance, policy implementation, and performance management
Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
~3+ years of HR and payroll experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting
~ Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Paycom, or similar) and HRIS systems
~ Strong knowledge of labor laws, payroll regulations, and benefits administration
