Position Summary
PS&S is a leading architecture firm dedicated to creating innovative and sustainable design solutions. With a focus on collaboration and creativity, we strive to exceed client expectations and positively impact communities.
We are seeking a talented and motivated Architectural Designer with 3-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design excellence, strong technical skills, and the ability to contribute to all phases of the design process. This position would be based in our Warren, NJ headquarters.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with project teams to develop design concepts and solutions. Produce architectural drawings, renderings, and presentations using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite. Conduct research and analysis to support design decisions. Assist with site visits, client meetings, and coordination with consultants. Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas to enhance project outcomes. Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations. Learns basic code evaluation procedure and information gathering requirements for review with supervisor. Supports efforts for studies and reports and assists with preparation of routine technical reports or sections of reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or related field 3-8 years of professional experience in an architectural firm Proficiency in Revit,
Sketch-up, 3D software, Rendering software, Photoshop, and
AutoCAD Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Strong design and visualization skills Knowledge of building codes and regulations Knowledge of Navisworks Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
