About the Role

Boulo is helping our client, a privately held independent risk consulting firm, recruit for a Commercial Lines Property & Casualty Insurance Producer in the Birmingham or Mobile area. The ideal candidate is a dynamic individual with a proven track record for outside sales success who is motivated to succeed quickly by building a profitable book of commercial business and representing the agency in a professional manner in the market.

Employment Type: Full-time

Flexibility: Hybrid

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 salary with $100,000+ OTE by end of 3rd year

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business generation and manage the client relationship life cycle from lead generation through proposal, and from closing to post-sales servicing
  • Identify and qualify prospects to create a robust pipeline of accounts
  • Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities among existing clients
  • Develop deep relationships and participate in leadership roles within targeted industry/niche associations and community organizations
  • Collaborate with inside and outside partners to create compelling risk management programs that win new business
  • Work closely with the firm's President to set and achieve sales goals
  • Input and track sales activities in sales management systems

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales with documented success and a “Hunter” sales mentality
  • Ability to travel, mostly within the state of Alabama
  • Proven experience working with C-Level executives; public speaking experience is very helpful in this position
