MISSION

Responsibilities

Grants Program - 70%

  • Manage grant applications and reports
  • Steward relationships with funders, support Executive Director in funder stewardship
  • Oversee our grants calendar, strengthen our grants management system, and ensure that all deadlines and requirements are met
  • Research, identify and develop relationships with potential new funding sources
  • Create drafts of applications, reports, and attachments
  • Work closely with the Executive Director to create annual development strategy

Individual donor cultivation, correspondence, and strategy - 15%

  • Update donor stewardship plan. Strengthen existing strategies and create new initiatives for ATC’s donor cultivation activities and infrastructure
  • Formalize systems for ongoing data collection and analysis
  • Maintain relationships and correspondence with ATC’s existing mid-level donors
  • Lead tours and one-on-one meetings with existing and potential donors to engage them more deeply in ATC
  • Attend ATC Prep Nights to cultivate relationships with volunteers, who often become in-kind and/or financial donors
  • Implement End of Year & Spring Forward Donor Campaigns

Branding and Communications - 15%

  • Create an annual communications calendar and ensure that ATC has a clear, cohesive voice that runs through all of its communications
  • Oversee website management, email marketing, social media management
  • Ensure that the visual identity of ATC is consistent throughout our materials
  • Coordinate with Program staff regularly, to ensure that our communications align with our core values and client work
  • Support branding/communications and secure sponsorships related to ATC’s Annual Block Party
  • Recruit, oversee and manage 1 Branding and Communications intern

Other Responsibilities

  • Participate in nightly outreach once per month
  • Participate in semi-monthly community volunteer prep nights
  • Periodically attend community meetings and events
  • Attend various All Staff, Management, DevOps team meetings as scheduled

Required Skills:

  • Previous hands-on professional experience with fundraising and development
  • Previous supervisory experience a major plus
  • Significant experience leading projects and managing team members
  • Strong ability to build relationships with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Comfort with public speaking
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Hard-working and self-motivated
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce and Google platforms
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to think big-picture and implement projects and systems
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in an often busy, sometimes chaotic environment
  • High level of flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Comfort with ATC’s philosophy for working with young adults

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a small to medium nonprofit setting
  • Experience working on fundraising campaigns
  • Experience with Adobe Suite and graphic design
  • Experience with Salesforce, GiveButter and MailChimp
