Overview
Our client is an award-winning global integrator supporting a major branch of our Armed Forces. They have an immediate need for a Strategic Communications Consultant to work a hybrid schedule at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI. In this role, you will support PACAF leadership in seminars, speeches, and briefings by drafting scripts and articles, and producing visual content for their presentations. Candidates must have the ability to travel to events up to 40% of the time.
Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Communications Support: Maintain a strong communication capability to assist PACAF leadership in seminars, speeches, and briefings.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: Provide detailed updates by participating in key meetings, working groups, committees, and boards. Develop, consolidate, and present meeting materials such as slides, reports, and minutes.
- Content Development: Draft scripts, speeches, articles, and digital content to help PACAF leadership communicate strategic messages and Air Force priorities across the CE enterprise.
- Virtual Engagement & Event Production: Deliver high-quality design and production for virtual engagements, including program development, storyboarding, and professional content creation for worldwide events.
- Strategic Event Planning: Work directly with PACAF leadership to plan and execute high-level strategic events and engagements for senior leaders.
- Deliverable Creation: Develop a variety of materials in support of strategic events and engagements.
- Strategic Documentation Management: Support program strategy by coordinating, consolidating, and maintaining strategic documents for events.
- Cross-Agency Collaboration: Engage with Air Force and DoD experts, senior leaders, and stakeholders to advance key Civil Engineering initiatives.
- Expeditionary Engineering Support: Assist in planning and executing the Expeditionary Engineering Working Group (XEWG).
- Ability to work across multiple time zones.
- Willingness to travel about 40% of the time.
- Experience creating scripts, speeches, articles, and digital correspondence to support leadership in communicating strategic messages and Air Force initiatives.
- Proven ability to design and produce high-quality virtual engagements and events, including program development, storyboard creation, and professional production of deliverables.
- Hands-on experience working with senior leadership to plan and execute high-level strategic events and engagements.
- Skilled in developing a variety of materials to support strategic events and engagements.
- Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE.
- W2 Hourly rate: $64 - $69. Rate is based on experience, qualifications, location, and certifications, and is subject to change at any time.
