Lamar State College-Port Arthur | Port Arthur, TX 77640

Library Services operates a 60-hour, 5-day a week schedule, open from 7:30am - 7:30pm Monday - Thursday and 7:30am - 5:00pm Friday. All shifts are available. Schedule is limited to 19 hours not to exceed 20 hours per week. Student Assistants will be utilizing library software to facilitate circulation transactions, sorting and processing mail and book drop deliveries, re-shelving, and stack maintenance. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates will be trained on the job.

Preferred Qualifications

Keyboarding aptitude, multi-tasking, and people skills.

Salary: $8.50/hr

Work Hours: Morning, afternoons, and evenings. Limited to working 19 hours not to exceed 20 hours per week.
