What You’ll Do
The Global Website Experience team at Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Web Content Specialist to work on ongoing management, strategic planning, and optimisation initiatives for our Global Tools and Outdoor brand websites. In this role, they will partner with product, marketing, and IT teams to bring digital and creative strategies to life online.
The ideal candidate is an experienced web content administrator with proven ability in a variety of digital marketing activities and technologies. This candidate is self-motivated with strong attention to detail, an eagerness to learn new platforms, an aptitude for creating documentation and training programs, and optimising processes. They should have experience communicating and collaborating with a variety of audiences across departments, hierarchies, and geographies within our Global Tools and Outdoor organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all content updates across the site(s) account for proper implementation of brand standards for website content and assets.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable accessibility and governance standards.
- Align content strategies with the unique needs of a brand’s target audience or user segments.
- Deliver an optimal user experience across devices.
- Collaborate on website migration with global teams, focusing on documentation, alignment, and content load for market rollouts.
- Execute special projects related to website management and digital marketing strategies.
- Contribute to group goals and refine content/project management processes and standards.
- Use Drupal or similar CMS for managing content updates from global stakeholders.
- Oversee review and approval of site updates and ensure timely content publishing.
- Identify content gaps, recommend improvements, and coordinate with IT on issues.
- Communicate content specifications and review for accuracy before upload.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for campaign alignment and content strategy.
- Edit and enhance website content calendars.
Who You Are

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications preferred.
- Experience managing content for large scale websites via a Content Management System (CMS). Working knowledge of Drupal, or other enterprise content management systems preferred.
- Experience managing product data for B2B or B2C audiences.
- Project managing website creation, migration, or maintenance with internal IT or external vendor resources.
- Solid working knowledge of emerging and current web technologies, organic and paid search, Email marketing trends, Web analytics standards, and paid digital media.
- Self-motivated, positive attitude eager to learn and evolve as business needs change in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritise workload and self-direct projects. Hold partners accountable and keep multi-faceted projects on task and target.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
