Insurance Producer

The Encompass Group is partnering with a leading insurance broker and wholesaler who is looking to add a Commercial P&C Producer to their growing team. The Producer will be apart of the brokerage team and help market new P&C business and renew existing accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Solicit, Market, Negotiate, Broker, and Bind accounts according to division procedure guidelines
• Demonstrate technical knowledge of concepts, terms, and overall policy knowledge
• Maintain & cultivate ongoing partnerships with existing Carrier Partners
• Work with and assist when needed with existing brokerage staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience in insurance industry.
• Insurance license (P&C license required within 6 months of hire).
• Organization, time management, attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong Computer Skills
• Strong communication skills to establish relationships with customers, communicate company goals and objectives and meet with underwriting teams on strategy/tactics

Location: Greenville, South Carolina

Work Status: Full-time (2 days remote, 3 days in-office)

Schedule: 8:15am – 5:00pm
