ABOUT THE ROLE
Peloton’s Content Department produces classes year round in order to deliver a broad range of highly engaging live and on-demand content to our Members. We are a highly collaborative, fast paced, and rapidly growing department. We’re looking for a hands-on, fitness forward, Social Content Producer and Editor who can support our brand & Instructors with high quality video content. Video editing, brand and influencer storytelling, and an understanding of social audiences and trends is required. The role will be based in our New York City office and will be required to report to the office at least 4-5 days per week, with the understanding that team members may occasionally be required to work additional days in the office (including weekends or holidays) or be present at a physical Peloton or other location, in NYC or otherwise, based on team or business needs.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Ideate, produce and edit platform-endemic daily videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, FB and original content platforms
- Focus on editing specifically for social platforms: for Instagram Reels - vertical, multiple shot capture
- Editing focused on high quality and high output content to capitalize on marketing moments/trends; 6-10 video deliverables per week primarily focused around short form (90 seconds or less)
- Create briefs and pitch concepts to story tell to promote individual influencers (Instructors), Content programming, Partnership and Brand initiatives
- Produce content series for hardware and in app video content; flexibility to produce 16:9 content and crop to specific aspect ratios needed for different projects
- Create video content that delights, surprises, informs and engages our community
- Shoot video and produce content as needed
- Use trend data, pitch platform-specific social and original content concepts
- Participate in planning and execution for coverage of large tentpole content initiatives and events
- Collaborate with cross functional teams on assets and deadlines
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- Minimum of 3-5 years proven experience working as a Social Producer and Editor across a variety of platforms
- Experience using a social data tool to inform brief creation
- Experience editing at high output across a variety of platforms
- Exceptional storyteller, able to ideate & build content that drives emotion
- Ability to identify a story or trend and can craft relevant content to join the conversation
- Skilled in Avid, Adobe Premiere, or DaVinci Resolve
- Excellent project management skills; capable of balancing multiple projects and prioritizing your work
- Outstanding writing ability with the capacity to write quickly and accurately
- Experience writing briefs and pitching concepts that further KPIs
