Contract: 6 months contract (extension and perm possibility) Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM (Mon-Fri); 40hrs/weekly Address: REMOTE Payrate: Competitive Job Description As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our marketing automation platform is optimized for efficiency, compliance, and usability across the organization. Your role will involve data management, process optimization, and automation governance, requiring collaboration with multiple teams including marketing, engineering, and quality assurance. Key Responsibilities:

Maintain & Optimize the marketing automation platform (MAP) to ensure functionality and compliance. Manage & Clean Data Fields – Identify unused user data fields, update or remove them, and maintain structured data. Work with Braze/Iterable to transition data fields to Source of Truth (SOT) fields for accurate tracking. Manage Retention Policies – Adjust and implement data retention periods for custom events in the system. User Management & Permissions – Oversee and control user access within the automation platform. Monitor IP Health & Deliverability – Ensure high email deliverability and maintain IP reputation. Collaborate with Marketing Managers to shut down unused automations and document active workflows. Work with ETL & Reverse ETL Platforms (e.g., Fivetran, Hightouch) to build data pipelines for third-party integrations. Enhance Governance Processes – Define and update automation governance guidelines for internal teams. Partner with QA Teams to design test scenarios and ensure automation functionality. Optimize Data & Database Health – Manage data hygiene, streamline processes, and improve database efficiency. Job Requirements:

2+ years of experience in marketing automation, data management, or related fields. Experience working with marketing automation platforms (Braze, Iterable, HubSpot, or Marketo preferred). Familiarity with ETL & Reverse ETL tools (e.g., Fivetran, Hightouch). Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and retention policies. Experience with IP health monitoring & email deliverability best practices. Strong organizational and documentation skills.
