has an exciting opportunity for a

Transit Radio and Communication Systems Specialist. The Transit Radio and Communication Systems Specialist will be responsible for the work throughout the King County Metro Transit service area, providing a variety of services to our existing and new communication infrastructure on a variety of transit systems. While working independently under the general supervision of the Lead or Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, Transit Radio and Communication Systems Specialists install, maintain, diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs on electronic equipment within transit facilities. Equipment includes building security and access control systems, closed circuit television (CCTV), ORCA payment validation equipment, UHF Digital Mobile Radio (DMR), 700MHz P25 Phase II land mobile radio systems, and digital MPLS microwave systems.
