YOUR IMPACT Collaborating closely with our executive director, board, and management team, our Development Director enhances public relations and orchestrates short- and long-term funding strategies. You manage our donor database and nurture relationships with funding sources and financial institutions, conveying TURN's needs confidently. You create grant proposals, maintain media communications, and drive engagement through social media, newsletters, and our website. In fundraising, you manage submission timelines, ensure funds are allocated effectively, and attend grant meetings. Your impact ripples through staff, leadership, and board meetings, contributing to program goals and fostering efficiency. Our main office in Salt Lake City is your primary work location, but this position will require travel and work around the state.

WHO ARE WE? TURN Community Services was founded in 1973 by a group of parents who wanted better services for their adult children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide resources to more than 850 individuals with developmental disabilities. With locations from Brigham City to St. George, we offer a full range of services including day programs, residential living, art center programs, summer camp, and supported employment opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, communications, social sciences, or a related field OR an equivalent amount of relevant professional experience 4+ years of experience in management, marketing, or financial development, preferably with a nonprofit Experience with fundraising, supervising staff, and maintaining donor relationships Computer proficiency, interest in social media trends, and ability to use platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram Heart for working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities Must be located along the Wasatch Front - Weber to Utah County Must have own vehicle and be a driver in good standing
