SEO Manager
Location: Hybrid in Culver City, CA (Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
Duration : 12 months to start
Pay: Up to $88 per hour DOE (W2 and benefit options)
Planet Interactive is looking for a SEO Manager to join our well known Fortune 50 client on a 12 month contract.
SEO Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and shape the organic search strategy for various products and services across digital platforms.
- Support a major website re-platforming project and ensure minimal impact on organic search performance
- Prioritize on-page experience by offering knowledge of UX/UI design principles that drive SEO results and enrich customer experiences
- Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and optimization
- Work closely with writers to develop marketing content that aligns with buyer search intent, and optimize copy for improved visibility on search engines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content, marketing, product, and engineering, to ensure SEO requirements are integrated into all digital efforts and product launches
- Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance and search trends, making data-driven decisions to optimize campaign performance and inform paid search strategies
- Be part of the working group that will develop a shared set of processes that will define cross-functional operational standards for future platforms
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners to advocate for SEO initiatives and secure necessary resources and support
SEO Manager Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with SEO for a global brand or digital agency
- Solid experience managing complex and time-critical technical projects
- Experience with in-depth keyword research and SEO writing
- In-depth knowledge of the latest SEO best practices across all significant worldwide search engines
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, seoClarity, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog
- Excellent communication skills, especially an ability to simplify complex data into actionable insights.
- Ability to define program metrics and collaborate with analytics on program reporting.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Self-starter, self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Experience working with a global brand preferred
