Position Overview:
As The Assistant Designer, you will be responsible for supporting the design team on all tasks from concept through production hand off for Junior's Tops.
Assistant Designer Responsibilities: Assist in developing trend-right junior tops, including wovens, knits, and novelty pieces. Create digital sketches, CADs, and presentation boards using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Support in preparing tech packs with detailed specifications and design callouts. • Conduct market and trend research to help inspire new collections. Organize and track samples, fabric swatches, and trims. Assist in fitting sessions and make revisions as needed. Maintain design files and line sheets for each season.
Assistant Designer Requirements: Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Eye for fashion trends and understanding of junior tops styles. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
