Position Overview:
As Technical Designer, you will be responsible for the final fit of all women's apparel including woven and knit categories.
Technical Designer Responsibilities: Develop and maintain detailed tech packs with accurate specifications, construction details, and measurements. Conduct fit sessions on live models or dress forms and provide clear, constructive feedback for adjustments. Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs. Review samples and communicate necessary corrections to factories. Analyze and troubleshoot fit and construction issues to ensure consistency across sizes. Work closely with overseas vendors, factories, and internal teams to ensure proper garment execution. Maintain an organized system for tracking fits, revisions, and approvals. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in garment construction and technical design.
Technical Designer Qualifications: Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, and pattern-making. Experience creating and revising tech packs with detailed specs. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve fit issues with precise communication. Experience working with factories and production teams, including overseas communication. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
