OVERVIEW:

Elvis Presley’s Graceland is looking for a digital content star to join our dynamic marketing team! This is a great opportunity to be a key voice for one of the world’s foremost brands and help grow visitorship across the Graceland campus, while engaging Elvis fans from around the world. We are a small department which allows this team member to have hands-on involvement in all areas of marketing and events, while specializing in social media and content creation in a fast-paced, fun environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Create, develop, implement and manage all social media activities and content across platforms for Graceland and The Guest House at Graceland channels, including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, among others.
  2. Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent content delivery.
  3. Maintain and update all areas of Graceland and The Guest House at Graceland websites including calendar listings, media sections, etc.
  4. Write, create and send email blast campaigns using subscriber lists, databases and memberships.
  5. Manage the Graceland Insiders Facebook page including content calendar and responding to comments/posts; handle execution of members-only contests and email communication about upcoming offers, pre-sales, etc.
  6. Create and maintain online listings, entertainment and calendar updates for Graceland, The Guest House at Graceland, tourism, events, and concerts on property websites, social media sites and on external event/calendar sites.
  7. Conduct research via surveys and other means as needed.
  8. Attend and cover on-site events for content for website and social media.
  9. Assist marketing team in planning and execution of all Graceland events and concerts.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

  1. Must have a thorough understanding of all social media platforms.
  2. Singular ability to create, write, edit and upload engaging posts utilizing copy, photos and/or video.
  3. Associates and/or Bachelor’s Degree.
  4. Minimum of 2 years as lead in social media role.
  5. Be a highly detailed, organized individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment while working on a variety of projects simultaneously.
  6. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Proficient in using various CMS platforms to create and maintain website content.
  8. Basic graphic design skills (e.g., using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) and video/audio editing skills to create content.
  9. Must demonstrate exceptionally strong skills in writing, editing, and proofreading; have a great creative aesthetic; and be able to adapt to the style and tonality most becoming to Elvis and Graceland fans.
