UG2 is looking for a detail-oriented, self-directed Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team in our Boston office. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for working on a variety of marketing and communication programs with a heavy focus on social media, event support, and content development.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Assist in ongoing campaigns and events to drive awareness for UG2 services.
  • Assist with the design and execution of high impact digital campaigns using appropriate content, techniques, tools, and channels (whitepapers, case studies, newsletters, video, website, email, webinars, infographics, social media, etc.).
  • Take a key role in UG2's social media execution and development
  • Manage, organize and maintain UG2's content libraries (email, digital and graphic assets)
  • Maintain tracking for marketing projects and updating team portal.
  • Work with UG2 regional Centers of Excellence and provide marketing and communication support for their local business development and operations teams.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Business Development, Operations, IT and other departments daily
  • Track and manage strategic partner marketing and industry association relationships to maximize awareness and impact
  • Help with corporate communications initiatives, including Thought Leadership activities
  • Assist with the creation and management of content for the website and other marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with the creation and deployment of email marketing campaigns
  • Interact with external marketing agencies, partners, and vendors
  • Assist with the development of internal communication messages and programs
  • Measure, track and report on program results on an ongoing basis
  • Perform basic design functions on an ongoing basis (i.e. creating and editing graphics for digital needs)
  • Stay current with and apply latest marketing best practices; Be a student of our industry and discipline.
  • Effectively work in a fast-paced environment and be willing to adjust roles and responsibilities to meet the needs of a constantly changing and growing organization.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum 3-5 years' marketing experience, agency experience a plus.
  • BS or BA in Marketing, Communications or other relevant discipline.
  • Creative, self-starter, highly motivated team-player with a "growth mindset" attitude and the ability to make informed decisions quickly within a fast-paced environment
  • Data and analytical skills to help measure marketing metrics
  • Strong project management skills and great attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication - including the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
  • Working knowledge and successful experience with many or all of the following is a plus but not required:
    • Hubspot
    • Email Marketing Campaigns (including Marketing Automation Tools)
    • Social Media for B2B (Linkedin, Facebook, YouTube etc)
    • Powerpoint and Microsoft Office tools
    • Basic/Intermediate Design Skills
    • SEO, SEM, PPC
    • Project management tools
  • B2B and/or Services Marketing experience preferred
