Position Overview: The Senior Manager, Marketing is responsible for leading and executing Mythical Entertainment’s 360 marketing initiatives and O+O promotional campaigns with a focus on deepening engagement and fueling the fan lifecycle. This role will work cross-functionally and will report directly to the SVP, Audience Development.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute go-to-market and O+O promotional strategies across all Mythical verticals and channels, including on-air, FAST, podcasts, subscription, Ecommerce and CRM, based on content slates, launches and other key priorities while adhering to deadlines Manage CRM strategy, analytics and day-to-day support of email campaigns, SMS and database management Lead cross-functional marketing planning with Sr. Manager, Social Media and internal business leads to ensure campaign success by driving a centralized perspective tethered to department goals Manage marketing campaign planning and execution for external brand partnerships and live events In partnership with Sr. Manager, Social Media, elevate and evolve integrated promotional strategy and tactics across O+O, organic social media and paid media, continuing to meet a high standard of creativity, innovation and brand cohesion Work closely with external PR agency on communicating monthly priorities and delivering campaign materials in a timely manner Provide performance-based insights and proactive recommendations to key stakeholders to optimize marketing strategy, creative and tactics Be an effective problem-solver and strategic thinker to translate business goals and messaging into compelling marketing campaigns Maintain knowledge of competitor strategies, industry trends, and new product features to ensure Mythical stays on the forefront of digital trends
Requirements
4+ years entertainment, brand or related marketing experience Thorough understanding and hands-on experience building 360 marketing campaigns Deep understanding of email and SMS marketing, including customer segmentation, customer journeys and email analytics Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while remaining highly organized and detail-oriented Excellent work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude Strong written and verbal communication skills Thorough understanding of Google Suite of apps (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, GMail, Forms and Calendar), as well as being overall tech savvy
