As an intern on the Game Design team, you will contribute by conceptualizing gameplay experiences, researching trends, prototyping solutions, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. Creative problem-solving and a solid understanding of the design process are essential. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, values teamwork, manages multiple projects effectively, and has a passion for board games. This role is dedicated to crafting engaging game experiences for a global audience.
What You'll Do:
Play-test new games and evaluate experiences. Play-test and visualize new concepts via sketching, digital prototyping, and physical model making. Research current trends in gaming and upcoming entertainment. Work Cross-Functionally with Narrative Design, Creative Design, Engineering, and Marketing. Prepare for and help deliver internal presentations for new product concepts. Build product specifications (using Adobe illustrator and Photoshop) to define product details for development. Currently enrolled in an accredited, degree-seeking program pursuing an undergraduate degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or equivalent major with at least one quarter or semester left after December 2025. Available to work full-time hours in-person at our Pawtucket, RI office location for the entire duration of the internship. Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer. Completion of at least one year of study within an undergraduate design program (Product, Toy, or Industrial Design) Strong skills in writing and proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator as well as PowerPoint Phenomenal communication & interpersonal efficiency skills Passion for collaboration, play and consumer product development A love of GAMES! Nice to Have:
Prior experience with CAD Model building, physical fabrication and video editing skills are all a plus, but not required. Compensation Range, Currency USD:
