This is a hybrid position, there will be some on site responsibilities with Clients including but not limited content capture, content creation and artist support in various locations in the Nashville area. There will also be some in person team meetings at various work locations.
About the Role
We’re searching for a Digital Marketing Account Manager who is passionate, efficient, and ready to succeed!
The Digital Marketing Account Manager will drive digital strategies, guide team members, and build client relationships, ensuring that our clients’ goals are met through innovative, on-brand content and comprehensive digital marketing approaches.
You’ll be responsible for leading client meetings, overseeing marketing initiatives, and managing a portfolio of clients with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
In addition, you’ll support the growth and development of team members by providing direction and mentorship.
This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient execution of high-level strategy, leading day-to-day operations, and increasing revenue for our clients and Crowd Surf.

Requirements
• 3-5 years of professional experience in digital marketing, social media, or content creation, preferably in the music or entertainment industry
• Proven experience overseeing a team and managing multiple client relationships simultaneously.
• Expert-level understanding of social media management, online trends, and digital music service providers.
• Advanced knowledge of video editing (programs like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut) and graphic design (programs like Photoshop and Canva) to create content optimized for various social platforms.
• Advanced at copywriting and editing for social media, with a focus on grammar and clarity.
• Availability for occasional weekend and evening work (events and activations don’t always occur during 9-to-5 business hours).
• Ability to work effectively in both remote, on-site, and office settings (in-person workdays may be required depending on location), on a computer and phone, with reliable high-speed internet access.
• Experience with Apple products (iPhone, Mac, Messages) and Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, etc.).
Responsibilities
• Daily communication with clients, artists, and team members to maintain strong relationships and provide campaign updates.
• Lead team meetings, ensuring clear communication of goals, responsibilities, and project timelines.
• Set meeting agendas that ensure effective communication, show results, pitch fresh ideas, and allow everyone on your team to add to the discussion.
• Develop and oversee comprehensive digital strategies across clients’ social properties, websites, mailing lists, online stores, apps, and other digital touchpoints.
• Plan and lead high-level marketing strategies for artists, incorporating digital trends, tech partnerships, influencers, and brand collaborations.
• Ensure timely completion and accuracy of client Marketing Calendars, coordinating closely with team members to maintain alignment with client goals, brand voice, and each platform’s unique features.
• Collaborate closely with artists and their teams on content creation, ensuring assets are on-brand, compelling, and optimized for digital platforms.
• Lead brainstorming sessions to source and generate innovative marketing ideas that resonate with fans and align with digital trends.
• Inform clients about emerging technologies and opportunities for audience growth.
• Implement strategies to foster direct connections between artists and fans, enhancing fan experiences, both digitally and physically.
• Synthesize online sentiment, fan engagement, and digital press to inform strategy and enhance clients’ online reputations.
• Review and approve detailed reports on campaign performance, ROI, and actionable insights, focusing on client growth and added value from marketing campaigns.
• Manage and mentor a team of 3-5 Coordinators and Assistants, fostering a collaborative environment and delegating responsibilities.
• Occasionally attend on-site events for content capture, talent direction, and real-time strategy implementation.
• Step in to perform hands-on digital marketing tasks as needed, particularly on high-stakes projects or when additional support is required.
Offering
• Full-time role, based on 40 hours per week (with potential for extended hours during events). Starting at 45K annually. The pay scale depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, education, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
