The Marketing Associate generates leads and develops/maintains relationships to drive new business opportunities. This field position represents the brand at community events, trade shows, and industry events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Generate leads by visiting neighborhoods with active projects and meeting homeowners to explain the value of the Company’s products and services. Identify neighborhoods with storm damage and meet with homeowners to discuss the value of the Company’s products and services. Follow approved protocols to tarp roofs for homeowners in need and document the process. Collect samples and ITEL’s and submit them to the Insurance Coordinator for processing. Complete necessary scope sheets for roof, siding, and interior inspections and upload to CRM. Meet insurance adjusters on site to review damage and update information in CRM. Perform repair attempts and document with pictures and videos, uploading all information into CRM. Take photos of before, during, and after worksites to document progress and value added to properties. Contact potential customers by visiting homes in target neighborhoods and delivering the marketing message. Leave promotional material when homeowners are unavailable, ensuring every visit has either a personal contact or material left for review. Manage and participate in trade/home shows and events, planning and organizing to showcase the Company's products and services. Provide feedback to management on lead generation results, maintaining up-to-date records and reporting on activities.
Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is a plus. 1-2 years of experience in sales; retail experience is a plus. Familiarity with multi-station phone systems, voicemail, and call transferring. Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Familiarity with computers and service-oriented CRM software. Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to remain calm and clear with challenging customers, staff, and vendors. Perseverance in pursuing solutions even when faced with uncooperative customers, staff, or vendors. Strong oral and written communication skills when interacting with customers, staff, management, or vendors. Ability to multi-task, prioritize activities, and react quickly to changing information. A valid driver's license with no restrictions on driving for company-related business.
