As a User Interface Sr. Advanced System Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex Avionics User interfaces that integrate with the Anthem Avionics systems and solutions that drive innovation, safety, and efficiency in the aerospace industry. You will work within cross-functional teams on the Anthem Program transforming the way the aerospace industry operates. Your expertise in human factors, systems engineering, project management, and technical leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of technology and industry solutions.
You will report directly to our Next Generation Avionics Team and you'll work out of our Deer Valley, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the design and development of advanced user interfaces for Anthem Avionics applications focused on human factors.
Knowledge of a variety of aviation operational use cases from a pilot perspective; being able to transition prototype concepts into actual requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of complex engineering projects
Implement and enforce security measures and compliance standards to safeguard systems and data
Provide technical leadership in identifying and resolving system issues, minimizing downtime, and ensuring systems remain operational
Identify opportunities for process and system improvements, implement enhancements, and contribute to the optimization of operations

• User Interface Experience
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
6+ years of experience in systems engineering and project leadership
• Comprehensive knowledge in systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
