The City of Blooming Prairie is seeking an inspiring and strategic leader to serve as the next Director of the Blooming Prairie Branch Library. This position provides visionary leadership, direction, and oversight for the library, ensuring it remains a vital resource for the community.

The Library Director collaborates with library staff, the Owatonna Public Library Director, the City Administrator, department heads, and community members to guide administration, program development, policy creation, budgeting, and resource allocation. The ideal candidate will foster a welcoming environment, enhance youth engagement, and position the library as a cornerstone of community learning and connection.

The Blooming Prairie Branch Library is staffed by the Director, one permanent part-time Library Technician, and one seasonal Library Technician II.
