Apparel Designer

ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Young Women’s Designer to support our premier retail client’s Apparel Design team with sketching, hand-offs, PLM management, meeting preparation, and sample organization. This is a great opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented designer to contribute to an established brand in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a 2-month contract opportunity, working hybrid (onsite M-R) in the greater Milwaukee area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed fashion sketches and technical drawings to support the design team.
• Assist with hand-offs (H/O's), ensuring smooth communication between design and production teams.
• Manage and update OnePLM system with accurate product details and design specifications.
• Prepare materials for meetings, including presentation boards and design concepts.
• Maintain and organize sample rooms, ensuring samples are readily available for review.
• Conduct trend research to support seasonal collections and new product development.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, production, and sourcing teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in apparel design, preferably in the young women’s market.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and PLM systems (OnePLM experience preferred).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
