SEO Strategy Manager
Location: Hybrid in Culver City, CA (Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
Duration: 12 months to start
Pay: Up to $88 per hour DOE (W2 and benefit options)
Planet Interactive is seeking an experienced SEO Strategy Manager to join a prestigious Fortune 50 client for a 12-month contract. If you're passionate about shaping organic search strategies and have a proven track record with global brands, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft and implement comprehensive organic search strategies for a range of products and services across diverse digital platforms.
- Play a critical role in a major website re-platforming initiative, ensuring that organic search performance remains robust.
- Enhance the on-page user experience by applying UX/UI design principles that drive SEO success and elevate customer interactions.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitive analyses to uncover growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with writers to create marketing content aligned with user search intent and enhance visibility on search engines.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content, marketing, product, and engineering, to integrate SEO strategies across all digital campaigns and product launches.
- Analyze and report on SEO performance and search trends, using data-driven insights to refine campaigns and guide paid search strategies.
- Participate in developing standardized processes that will streamline operations for future platforms.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to champion SEO initiatives and secure necessary resources.
Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of SEO experience with a global brand or leading digital agency.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex and time-sensitive technical projects.
- Strong background in keyword research and SEO writing.
- Up-to-date knowledge of SEO best practices across major search engines worldwide.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, seoClarity, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convert complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience in defining program metrics and collaborating with analytics teams for reporting.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and effectively.
- Experience working with a global brand is preferred.
