Akkodis is seeking a Mechanical Designer for a Contract job with a client in Sunnyvale, CA(Hybrid) . The ideal candidate will have advanced computer skills and a strong grasp of electrical currents and machinery, responsible for designing blueprints and prototypes. Rate Range: $70/hour to $75/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Mechanical designer job responsibilities include: Creating detailed designs and blueprints for mechanical systems and componentsCollaborating with engineers to ensure design functionality and feasibilityPerforming stress and performance calculations to validate designsModifying existing designs based on testing and feedbackAssisting in the creation and testing of prototypes and final products Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field5+ years of experience in mechanical designProficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systemsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environment.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
