Job Title: Social Media Content Creator
Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)
Location: Onsite – Buffalo, NY 14213
Pay: $28-30/hr.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
The Social Media Coordinator will support the Performance Marketing team as part of the USA/Canada Demand Creation Center of Excellence. This role involves content creation, community engagement, performance analysis, and general marketing support to enhance social media presence and audience engagement.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation (50%)
- Develop engaging short-form videos, photos, and graphics tailored for social media platforms (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
- Capture and edit high-quality, on-brand content that aligns with platform trends and audience preferences.
- Monitor social media trends to create timely, trend-driven content.
- Assist in monthly content calendar development in collaboration with brand teams and agency partners.
- Schedule and manage posts using Brandwatch to ensure timely and accurate content distribution.
- Optimize post schedules to maximize engagement and reach.
Community Management Coordination (25%)
- Respond to comments, direct messages, and audience interactions using an approved response matrix.
- Work closely with Associate Managers to ensure timely and consistent engagement.
- Identify and escalate potential issues or opportunities for deeper engagement.
Reporting & Analysis (15%)
- Assist in monthly social media performance analysis, identifying key insights and opportunities.
- Track KPIs such as reach, engagement, conversions, and website traffic.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve social media strategies.
General Team Support (10%)
- Assist in marketing budget management for assigned projects.
- Provide backup support to the Performance Marketing / Social Media Team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of social media experience, including content creation and community engagement.
- Proficiency in shooting and editing short-form video content for social platforms.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Express, Adobe Premiere Rush) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
