Pitch, plan, create and publish content for Bills social media platforms including but not limited to:

  1. Memes
  2. Vertical Video (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)
  3. Promotional / Sponsored Content
  4. Real-time reactionary content
  5. Game and event coverage

Demonstrate creativity and be an idea leader.

Cover practices, games and other events important to the organization.

Contribute to content ideation around TikTok and Reels strategy.

Collaborate with the video and photography production team on social first content concepts.

Monitor news and social media to identify what is trending in sports and relevant pop culture.

Assist with managing live streams of press conferences and other events.

Support and/or manage the Highmark Stadium platforms and any other Bills ancillary social media channels that may arise.

Work gamedays with an emphasis on publishing real time content in the Bills voice across multiple platforms.

Optimize new and existing content for best performance on social platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn).

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years experience in social media content programming.

Familiar with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Deep knowledge of social media platforms.

Have a pulse on online communities: constantly on X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, etc.

Understanding of trends, memes, viral content and popular culture.

Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Well versed in football and the NFL.

Ability to think fast and execute quickly.

Strong copywriting and communication skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to lift 20 pounds.

Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time (4 hours or more).

Must be able to walk/navigate the stadium.

SALARY

The target salary for this position is $55,000-$60,000 annually. Actual salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s skills and experience.
