Base pay range

$75,920.00/yr - $78,000.00/yr

We are hiring for on-site Staff Music Therapist positions in La Crescenta, CA. Both full-time and part-time positions are available with benefits.

Our core services include:

  • Individual and group-based Music Therapy
  • Adaptive Music Lessons for neurodiverse children and teens

Responsibilities / Duties / Functions / Tasks

Music Therapy:

  • Individual and group-based Music Therapy.
  • Adaptive Music Lessons for neurodiverse children and teens.

Administrative:

  • Keep and maintain detailed records of patient activities and progress.
  • Report to manager detailed case records.

Case Management:

  • Ability to create and design treatment plans.
  • Communicate case goals to relevant parties.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with clients and coworkers.
  • Communicate with upper management to align efforts with their expectations and schedules.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications (Education | Certification | Experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Music Therapy
  • Board Certification from the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT)
  • Experience in developing individualized treatment plans and using music as a therapeutic tool
  • Strong ability to work with diverse populations and age groups
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Understanding of and adherence to ethical standards in Music Therapy

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Ability to adapt to changes in the schedule based on the needs of the clients

Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Able to stand/walk for extended periods - up to 4 hours
  • Capable of safely lifting and carrying up to 15 lbs on an occasional basis
  • Ability to push/pull items to rearrange furniture or move equipment
