Base pay range
$75,920.00/yr - $78,000.00/yr

We are hiring for on-site Staff Music Therapist positions in La Crescenta, CA. Both full-time and part-time positions are available with benefits.
Our core services include:
- Individual and group-based Music Therapy
- Adaptive Music Lessons for neurodiverse children and teens
Responsibilities / Duties / Functions / Tasks
Music Therapy:
- Individual and group-based Music Therapy.
- Adaptive Music Lessons for neurodiverse children and teens.
Administrative:
- Keep and maintain detailed records of patient activities and progress.
- Report to manager detailed case records.
Case Management:
- Ability to create and design treatment plans.
- Communicate case goals to relevant parties.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with clients and coworkers.
- Communicate with upper management to align efforts with their expectations and schedules.
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications (Education | Certification | Experience)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Music Therapy
- Board Certification from the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT)
- Experience in developing individualized treatment plans and using music as a therapeutic tool
- Strong ability to work with diverse populations and age groups
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Understanding of and adherence to ethical standards in Music Therapy

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Ability to adapt to changes in the schedule based on the needs of the clients
Environment & Physical Requirements
- Able to stand/walk for extended periods - up to 4 hours
- Capable of safely lifting and carrying up to 15 lbs on an occasional basis
- Ability to push/pull items to rearrange furniture or move equipment
