Job Title: Mechanical Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Designer with at least 3 years of experience in design using SolidWorks. The ideal candidate will focus on updating drawings and modeling using SolidWorks. This role is for a Designer/Drafter, not an engineer. You will play a crucial part in enhancing our design projects and ensuring accuracy in our mechanical designs.

Responsibilities

• Update drawings and models using SolidWorks.

• Perform modeling and finite element analysis (FEA).

• Work with sheet metal designs and piping.

• Utilize Epicor for design projects.

• Collaborate on designs for large equipment that include platforms and railings.

Essential Skills

• 3 years of experience with SolidWorks.

• Proficiency in mechanical design.

• Experience with modeling and FEA analysis.

• Knowledge of sheet metal and piping designs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Epicor.

• Background in structural design, including mezzanines and platforms.

Work Environment

This role is based in an office environment. You will be working on large equipment designs that incorporate platforms and railings, contributing to our growing team's innovative projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $42.00/hr.
