Your Role
Reporting to the Customs Brokerage Manager you will be responsible for coordination of the documentation required by US Customs and Border Protection for entry of goods into the US on behalf of importers.
Your Responsibilities

Maintain and update all customs compliance documentation, adhering to all US Customs Regulations and other regulatory agencies

Process documents through the Company’s ABI system, securing Customs release and other government agency approvals as needed

Coordinate both delivery and invoicing for import accounts related to services rendered

Review and monitor all Customs rejections, client information requests, and other correspondence involving government agencies

Ensure compliance with both domestic and international shipping regulations

Engage in daily correspondence with overseas offices

Collaborate closely with other departments to provide a high level of service to our valued customers
Your Skills and Experiences
-
2+ years Customer Service experience
-
Basic knowledge of Incoterms
-
Confident user of Microsoft Suite: MS Word, Excel (intermediate), PowerPoint and Outlook
-
Comfortable using office equipment such as printers, scanners, telephone, etc.
