In this role, you will play a key part in analyzing, planning, implementing, and reporting on marketing spend across the LEGO ecosystem in the U.S. Core Responsibilities
Drive overall marketing spend governance in the US, including Global/local processes and ensuring Marketing Spend plans (MPs) are met, with explanations of variances to top company forums.
Perform comprehensive and timely marketing spend analysis for key internal forums.
Ensure transparency in the overall U.S. marketing budget allocation, with a special focus on key attributes such as working vs. non-working media, spend distribution across themes and the Masterbrand, consumer target groups, and timing/seasonality.
Support the local commercial strategy process (ICP) with Consumer Group expectations, spend plans, and marketing strategies 1 year out.
Support the roll-out & implementation of global marketing tools and dashboards within the US BU.
Co-ordinate & collaborate with a wide range of collaborators including BU Marketing teams and Global Marketing Planning/Effectiveness forums.

Within the Marketing Planning & Analytics Area of the US, the Marketing Planning and Budgeting Manager will be driving the analysis of spend and completion of key Marketing plans and spend for the entire department. This role will be reporting to Director of US Marketing Planning, and will integrate heavily with all the US Marketing functions such as US Brand Marketing, US Trade Marketing, US Ecommerce Marketing team, Digital and Brand Relations Marketings, Finance, and many more collaborators. Do you have what it takes?
Seasoned experience in marketing budgeting
Experience with coordination of a diverse panel of partners and leading cross functional marketing teams
High level of analytical skills: Excel and Power BI capabilities need to be very high.
Very high understanding of Accounting Concepts, specifically accruals, entries, and ability to match up GR and invoice and credits by line/activity
Passion for quick analytical thinking and applying to problem solving, especially with fast turn around times.
Experience and passion for building effective partnerships and a strong commitment to internal customer service
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Experience with Marketing Tools and Training on use and interpretation of marketing concepts.
Fluent in English

This position will initially be based at 501 Boylston St or 10 St. James Street in Boston, before moving to a new office location at 1001 Boylston St by mid-2025. Our hiring teams will discuss this with you during the interview stages. Hybrid working model

There is no budget for domestic or international relocation for this role. Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $100,000 - $130,000 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law.
