We are seeking a dynamic Urban Designer to join our growing Federal Planning team, in support of a wide array of contracts. The ideal candidate must have, or must be able to obtain, an American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) OR Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) certification. To be successful in this role, you will need the depth of industry experience and skills to independently conduct all phases of master planning - facility, campus, or installation planning; specifically, in terms of graphic and mapping expertise. Space requirements development and analysis Oversee all aspects of document production coordination Address clients’ concerns and mitigate issues, ensuring final deliverables surpass clients’ expectations Lead, manage, and assist in proposal preparation Support project budgets and meet deadlines consistently Manage projects from inception to completion Provide status reports and operational briefs to clients and management Mentor junior planners and encourage cross-collaboration Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, or related Minimum of 5 years' planning experience using GIS (ArcMap), Military Planning Criteria, Google SketchUp, AutoCAD, or related software Intermediate / Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools Intermediate / Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills Preferred
