About the Role
We’re looking for a Social Media Art Director to lead the creative vision for Cider’s social-first storytelling. This role is responsible for conceptualizing and executing scroll-stopping, on-brand visuals that engage our global community across TikTok, Instagram, and other emerging platforms. From trend-driven campaigns to witty memes, you’ll translate our brand ethos into highly shareable content that drives awareness, engagement, and conversion.
What You’ll Do
- Own and define Cider’s visual identity across all social media channels, ensuring consistency, relevance, and innovation.
- Conceptualize and direct high-impact creative campaigns, from seasonal drops to viral social activations.
- Lead and manage a small team of content creators, designers, and external collaborators (e.g., content creators, video editors).
- Stay ahead of social trends, internet culture, and viral moments, integrating them into Cider’s content strategy.
- Partner with the marketing, influencer, and brand teams to develop best-in-class paid and organic creative for engagement and performance.
- Oversee the production of short-form videos, GIFs, and motion graphics, ensuring all assets are optimized for social.
- Elevate influencer and community-generated content through art direction and post-production enhancements.
- Track creative performance and iterate based on data and insights to improve engagement and conversion.
Who You Are
- A trend-obsessed creative with 3+ years of experience in social-first art direction, ideally within fashion, beauty, or youth culture brands.
- Strong visual storytelling skills, with a sharp eye for aesthetics, photography, typography, and motion design.
- Deep knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, and digital culture — you instinctively know what will perform well.
- Experience in directing short-form video campaigns in both organic and ads formats.
- A hands-on creative leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Highly collaborative and comfortable working across teams, from marketing to design to influencer relations.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects), DaVinci, and Figma is a plus.
