Job Posting : Social Media Art Director Kontoor Brands is seeking a Social Media Art Director for our Wrangler marketing team at our Greensboro, NC headquarters. This role supports the Brand Creative Director by shaping the narrative and art direction for the Social Media team’s content creation. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Social Media manager, bringing a creative, commercial, and analytical approach, and collaborating with multiple teams across the business, including brand and DTC. The Social Media Art Director will be hands-on in designing, editing, and implementing social videos and stills, creating compelling stories that foster brand advocacy and drive sales.
The Social Media Art Director will serve as the creative gatekeeper of the brand’s tone and aesthetic on all social channels, responsible for creating and curating engaging, social-first content across categories such as Western, Traditional, Modern, Womenswear, Outdoor, and Workwear. Passion for social content creation and awareness of current trends and platform updates are essential to ensure high-quality paid and organic social content that feels native to each platform.
Responsibilities :
Edit, design, and deliver seasonal brand, collaboration, and promotional content to engage current followers and attract new ones, increasing impressions, sessions, and CTR for both paid and organic social.
Maintain and evolve the social media look and feel across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Meta, Snapchat, Reddit, YouTube, and Pinterest for North America, to enhance brand advocacy, engagement, and website traffic.
Act as the gatekeeper for the social media tone of voice and visual brand language, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and creative vision.
Ensure social creative aligns with Wranglers’ broader creative strategy, maintaining a consistent visual story from social media to sales platforms, both DTC and wholesale.
Benchmark against key competitors and inspiring campaigns.
Requirements :
5-8+ years of experience creating engaging social content for fashion, beauty, retail brands, or ad agencies.
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or similar.
Proficiency in video editing with a social-first approach; experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar.
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, etc.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment with tight deadlines.
Comfortable with the dynamic social media and e-commerce landscape, reacting swiftly to changes.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, open to feedback and cross-departmental work.
