Fort Worth, Texas, Trinity Metro has an immediate opening for a Vice President of Marketing & Communications. The VP of Marketing & Communications will be responsible for leading a talented team in shaping and executing the agency’s marketing, branding, and communications efforts. This individual will be an ambassador for the organization and will play a pivotal role in increasing the agency’s visibility, increasing ridership, elevating brand awareness, as well as managing communications and media relations and all aspects of marketing – including paid advertising, promotional materials, and targeted programs. Responsibilities include:

Develop and execute high-performing marketing and communications plans to achieve higher levels of transit ridership. Lead and empower a high-performing, innovative marketing and communications team, ensuring alignment with Trinity Metro’s broader vision and strategic goals. Direct and set departmental communication, media plans, and marketing plans and procedures to goals and objectives to ensure goal achievement. Develop long-term communication strategies for ridership improvement and public relations. Oversee the EasyRide Program to give transit benefits to Fort Worth businesses and its employees to help reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality. Direct staff on coordinating public events to promote transit service. Oversee the planning and development of fact sheets, scripts, posters, and other promotional materials to ensure consistency with program goals. Monitor the preparation of newsletters, brochures, and FWTA websites. Manage the selection of services of outside consultants, advertising agencies, photographers, videographers, printers, and other freelancers; coordinate work contracted with these consultants and ensure quality service. Manage and oversee public relations events and communication planning of Trinity Metro’s participation in special events, such as Main Street, Veterans Day Parade, Parade of Lights, Open Streets, and other community events. Identify challenges and emerging issues faced by the organization, working with the leadership team and staff to recognize internal and external marketing and communications opportunities and solutions and define and execute appropriate strategies to support them. Prepare reports and make presentations for senior management and to the Board of Directors. Coordinate media updates and other communications information for monthly POM Committee report. Prepare complex reports, documents, and correspondence. Participate in Trinity Metro’s community activities to promote transit during off-duty hours. Maintain confidentiality of information. Ensure reliable and consistent attendance.
