Nelson Park and Library: Part-Time Light Equipment Operator

The Town of Grafton is accepting applications for a Part-Time Light Equipment Operator position at Nelson Park and Library. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

1. Operating light equipment such as mowers.
2. Using hand tools for landscaping.
3. Performing fence repairs, seeding, and fertilizing.
4. Trimming/removing brush and trees.
5. Snow removal as necessary.

On average, this position works 15-20 hours per week, typically in the morning.

The starting rate for this position is $18.00 per hour.

The successful applicant must:

1. Be able to work independently to ensure that time-sensitive projects are completed.
2. Perform heavy manual labor in varying weather conditions.
3. Communicate effectively and follow proper methods, procedures, and safety precautions.

Minimum qualifications for this position include:

1. A high school diploma or equivalent.
2. A valid Class D driver's license.
