Nelson Park and Library: Part-Time Light Equipment Operator
The Town of Grafton is accepting applications for a Part-Time Light Equipment Operator position at Nelson Park and Library. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Operating light equipment such as mowers.
- Using hand tools for landscaping.
- Performing fence repairs, seeding, and fertilizing.
- Trimming/removing brush and trees.
- Snow removal as necessary.
On average, this position works 15-20 hours per week, typically in the morning.
The starting rate for this position is $18.00 per hour.
The successful applicant must:
- Be able to work independently to ensure that time-sensitive projects are completed.
- Perform heavy manual labor in varying weather conditions.
- Communicate effectively and follow proper methods, procedures, and safety precautions.
Minimum qualifications for this position include:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid Class D driver's license.
