Marketing Communications Specialist IV
Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Marketing Communications Specialist for a contract position in Maple Grove, MN. The opportunity will be four months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Position Summary: We are seeking a passionate individual to create innovative, compelling, and motivating customer-centric content experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to initiate, develop, and execute meaningful content experiences that engage and motivate existing and prospective healthcare professionals (HCPs) for the WATCHMAN franchise.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Lead the development and execution of content and communications plans that support the WATCHMAN franchise, targeting the HCP audience.
Utilize research and insights to identify key points of differentiation and messaging themes. Establish content strategy, communication journeys, and measurable goals.
Develop message maps, define brand strategies, and create compelling content and assets. Manage vendors and agencies to ensure initiatives meet objectives.
Partner with analytics resources to test content types and creative approaches. Use performance insights to identify new opportunities across communication channels.
Build and manage cross-functional relationships with relevant teams such as Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, Design, and IT.
Ensure content consistency with established guidelines, processes, and tools. Provide recommendations for improvement where appropriate.
Communicate proactively with all stakeholders, managing expectations, timelines, and logistics.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, sharing learnings with the internal team as appropriate.
Serve as a thought leader by sharing knowledge and best practices with team and cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English, Journalism, or another relevant field.
6 years of content strategy and/or marketing campaign experience in med device, pharma, biotech, consumer healthcare, or other regulated healthcare environments.
Experience developing content and materials from concept through production for multiple channels, with a focus on digital storytelling and asset creation. Some copywriting experience is required.
Solid understanding of brand management and principles.
Experience working with and managing agency and external vendor partners.
Highly motivated, action-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to manage and progress projects through completion.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, programs, and adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to travel up to 15% if needed.
Preferred:
Fluency in today’s digital marketing ecosystem and its application to content development, including areas such as Website, Email, Programmatic Advertising, Organic and Paid Social, and Marketing Automation.
