Wood Truss Designer
As a family‑run company with three decades of experience, we pride ourselves on delivering
exceptional quality and a customer experience that goes above and beyond.
As our next Truss Designer, you'll play a key role in designing truss solutions across agricultural,
commercial, multifamily, and residential builds. Your day‑to‑day will include creating truss
placement layouts, generating design drawings, preparing estimates, and acting as a technical
resource for both clients and sales representatives. Familiarity with ITW Alpine Truss Design
Software is a major plus
As our Truss Designer, you will:
Interpret architectural and structural blueprints to define precise truss specifications
Create roof and floor truss layouts using ITW Alpine Truss Design Software
Collaborate with customers, sales representatives, architects, and engineers to produce
accurate proposals
Manage multiple projects concurrently
Deliver prompt, professional technical support in response to questions from both clients and
the sales team
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years' experience designing truss systems
Demonstrated strong work ethic with a commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and meeting
deadlines
High standards of honesty, integrity, and professional respect in all interactions
Proven ability to collaborate effectively and maintain positive working relationships with
colleagues across departments
