Wripple is looking for a Bilingual Communications Consultant for one of our clients in the airline industry. This is a 40 hour/week, hybrid onsite long-term contract role - initial contract running through EOY, with opportunities to extend. You must be able to go onsite to the client's headquarters 4 days/week in south Atlanta. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for executing media relations strategies that promote the brand and reputation in key U.S. and international markets. You will work closely with the company’s Global Communications, Marketing, Sales and regional leadership teams to ensure that all external communications align with the company’s values and business goals. Some of the key responsibilities include: Providing excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish and/or Portuguese , both written and verbal Developing news releases, pitches and stories for the company news hub that promote the network and brand. This requires: -Understanding the ever-evolving business needs, particularly (but not limited to) in Latin America and the Caribbean. -Working cross-functionally, particularly with Marketing, Sales, Government Affairs, Social Media and Community Engagement, to plan and implement communications programs in the region around the world Collaborating witha team of PR agency professionals and serving as their in-office point of contact Working with internal colleagues and external organizations to facilitate agendas for media and influencer fam trips to and from the United States, ensuring the trips operate smoothly and demonstrate the best of the company and the cities the company serves The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 5 years of experience in public relations or a related field. The candidate should also have excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish or Portuguese, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The role requires being in office full time Mondays through Thursdays and remote on Fridays, occasionally able to support outside of regular business hours.
