Job Description
Position Title: Marketing Coordinator/ Senior Marketing Coordinator
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Marketing Lead
Employment Status: Full-time
FLSA Status: Salaried (Exempt)
Location: This position will report to our Corporate Office in North Buckhead, Atlanta.
In-office/ Remote: This is an in-office position, with the potential for hybrid based on performance guidelines. Many of our corporate staff work 3-4 days in-office.
Schedule: This position works a standard Monday- Friday, 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM schedule with deviations as needed based on company needs.
Position Summary
At 2MNEXT, we're seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Marketing Coordinator/ Senior Marketing Coordinator to lead our proposal development efforts and support our marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work, and is confident in managing proposals while supporting project managers and business development goals.
The Marketing Coordinator/ Senior Marketing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in developing high-quality proposals, ensuring they are compelling, compliant, and aligned with client requirements. This person will also contribute to marketing efforts, maintaining critical marketing materials and assisting with business development initiatives.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Proposal Management
- Lead the proposal development process, coordinating with technical staff, project managers, and leadership to ensure timely and high-quality submissions.
- Develop, write, edit, and format proposals, statements of qualifications (SOQs), and other marketing materials.
- Maintain a library of proposal content, including resumes, project descriptions, and company qualifications, ensuring all materials are current and accurate.
- Manage proposal deadlines and submission logistics, ensuring all requirements are met and submissions are completed on time.
- Provide guidance to project managers on proposal strategy, structure, and best practices.
- Track proposal outcomes and support continuous improvement of proposal processes.
Marketing & Branding
- Design and develop marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and other collateral, ensuring alignment with 2MNEXT’s branding and messaging.
- Order and maintain inventory of branded materials for marketing and employee engagement.
- Ensure brand consistency across all external communications, proposals, and marketing materials.
- Support social media and content development efforts by collaborating with internal teams to highlight company projects, expertise, and industry insights.
Events & Business Development
- Planning and coordinate industry-related marketing events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Represent 2MNEXT at select industry events, helping to build relationships and support business development efforts.
- Support CRM data management by tracking project opportunities, client interactions, and proposal deadlines.
Miscellaneous
- Assist in planning and executing employee appreciation events.
- Work in tandem with the HR team to administer and enhance employee recognition programs, including celebrating milestones like birthdays, work anniversaries, and welcoming new team members.
- Represent 2MNEXT at career fairs, effectively communicating the company's values, opportunities, and vision to potential candidates.
- Develop and present marketing presentations to potential clients with support of business development and technical leaders.
- Oversee and meticulously manage the company's event calendar, ensuring all internal and external events are well-coordinated and effectively communicated across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a high-volume marketing or proposal development role, preferably in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple proposals and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with attention to detail and ability to tailor content for different audiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in collaborating with project managers, technical teams, and leadership.
- Ability to take initiative, problem-solve, and work independently while ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading proposal efforts from kickoff to submission, including compliance reviews and quality assurance.
- Familiarity with the engineering, construction, or related technical sectors.
- Experience with CRM platforms and content management systems.
- Basic graphic design skills and experience creating professional marketing materials.
- Ability to analyze proposal success rates and refine processes for continuous improvement.
