J O B L I S T I N G : Interior Designer I or II McClellan | Tellone is seeking a talented and collaborative Interior Designer to join our office. We specialize in high-end residential and equestrian projects, integrating architecture, interior, and landscape design to create cohesive, high-quality spaces. This position may begin as full-time or part-time with the potential to transition into a full-time role. Our office is located on the Wallingford Steps, just above the Burke-Gilman Trail and Gasworks Park. This role allows for hybrid work, with up to two remote workdays per week for full-time work. We provide the necessary hardware and software to support remote work. R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S Collaborate with the Senior Designer and Architectural team to develop comprehensive interior solutions for new construction and remodel projects. Develop and present design concepts using SketchUp and AutoCAD. Prepare and present design ideas to clients, incorporating feedback into refined solutions. Produce construction documents and details that support design solutions. Select finishes, fixtures, and materials and create detailed construction specifications. Provide FF&E selections, specification, ordering, and installation coordination. Maintain positive client relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution. Review submittals and RFIs, and conduct site visits during construction phases. Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S 3+ years of experience. Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from a CIDA- or NCARB-accredited program. Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Affinity Design Suite (similar to Adobe), and Microsoft Suites. Experience with 3D rendering (we use Enscape) is a plus. Strong verbal and graphic presentation skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, builders, and vendors. Experience with material selection, interior detailing, space planning, furniture, and fixtures. Strong design sensibility with the ability to clearly communicate and develop design ideas. A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude—we believe success is achieved through hard work and collaboration. Valid driver’s license required. Contributing an additional friendly office-dog to our firm is a plus but not a requirement. C O M P E N S A T I O N McClellan Tellone offers a competitive salary based on the most recent AIA Compensation Report. Refer to the mean Salary for Seattle metro area. Full medical starting 30 days after the date of full-time hire. $100/month health savings account contribution by McClellan Tellone for full-time employees. Standard PTO 10 vacation days with an additional day per year of vacation time (maximum 15 days). 8 holidays. Sick time accrued at 1 hour per 40 hours worked. All PTO, including paid sick leave, is encouraged to be used as desired, and any unpaid time is received as additional paid time at the end of each year. A minimum of 10% of salary profit share is contributed by McClellan | Tellone towards a personal retirement SEP-IRA account for full-time employees Historically, based on the annual success of the office, this figure has on average been closer to 15-20% of annual salary. #J-18808-Ljbffr
