This position requires exceptional collaboration and communication skills, strong visual design skills, and a talent for transforming marketing goals into effective and user-friendly designs.
- Create engaging digital experiences that meet the needs and expectations of the target audience while supporting business goals.
- Effectively communicate how proposed design solutions meet customer, prospect, and business needs.
- Working iteratively, collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into front-end specifications creating user flows, wireframes, mockups, visual designs and interactive prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues, vendors, business stakeholders, engineers, analysts and other Agile team members.
- Consistently connect and collaborate with our enterprise UX team to ensure consistency across all user touch points.
- Investigate users' interactions with Amica’s responsive web site.
- Champion system design thinking: support and maintain established design and brand standards.
- Contribute to emerging design team processes and deliverables, including development of user experience standards.
- Lead UX projects of all sizes and complexity.
- 3+ years of experience with responsive web design.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong visual design skills, user-centered design, and experience designing marketing and product content.
- Proficiency in tools associated with design and prototyping (Figma, Adobe Suite, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to develop and foster business relationships.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Outstanding presentation skills and the ability to articulate design decision rationale.
- Experience working on an Agile product team preferred.
- Familiarity with WCAG accessibility guidelines and best practices is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent certificate program and work experience is preferred.

- Paid Vacation – you will receive at least 13 vacation days in the first 12 months, amounts could be greater depending on the role. While able to use prior to accrual, vacation time will accrue monthly.
