Position Overview:
Seeking a dynamic, trend-forward Associate Graphic Tee Designer to join our Juniors Apparel team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for fashion, a passion for graphic design, and an understanding of the juniors market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Development: Create and develop innovative, on-trend graphics for juniors tees, ensuring designs align with the brand's aesthetic and vision.
- Trend Research: Regularly research and analyze market trends, including street fashion, competitor products, and pop culture, to produce relevant and fresh designs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other design team members, merchandisers, and product developers to ensure cohesive product lines.
- Presentation: Prepare and present design ideas, mood boards, and sketches to the design team and senior management.
- Feedback Incorporation: Revise designs based on feedback, ensuring final designs are commercially viable and in line with brand guidelines.
- Production Support: Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are accurately executed during the printing process, choosing appropriate colors, placements, and techniques.
- Documentation: Maintain organized files of artwork and designs for easy access and reference.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in graphic tee design, preferably in the juniors market.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and familiar with print preparation.
- Strong understanding of the juniors apparel market and current fashion trends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
