Abound Credit Union is now hiring friendly, enthusiastic, and just overall awesome personalities to ensure persona-driven content strategies are effectively implemented across channels from commencement though completion that will bring our brand to life across all platforms.
Are you an expert storyteller who draws your audience in with powerful prose? If so, we should talk! Abound Credit Union is looking for a highly creative copywriter to fill the position of Content Creator. This individual will focus on developing written/verbal content strategies across all communication platforms creating increased earned media opportunities.
What You’ll Do:
- Content Strategy - Works with the Communications Manager to continually develop content strategies that strengthen earned, owned and paid media.
- Public Relations - Further develops/deepens the credit union’s “earned” media strategies.
- Brand Stewardship - Works with the creative team to develop engaging, on-trend, copy and content.
- Connecting to Community - Remains a visible and positive presence in the local community.
- Marketing Utilization - Utilizes content management system and social media tools regularly in the creation and development of content.
What We Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, Communication, Marketing or a related field and 3 years’ experience
- Computer skills to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Social platform experience: Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
- Self-motivation, enthusiasm and willingness to support others within the team
- Solid understanding of advertising, marketing and brand voice.
