UX Researcher

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced UX Researcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to delve into complex problem spaces, formulate insightful research questions, and effectively advocate for user needs throughout the design process. This role involves the creation of comprehensive research plans, personas, journey maps, and other relevant deliverables to communicate user insights to stakeholders, designers, product managers, and developers. We require a researcher with a flexible and creative approach, capable of presenting research findings in a clear, diplomatic, and persuasive manner.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, fellow researchers, and leadership to define research objectives and develop comprehensive research plans.
- Conduct thorough analysis of current-state services to identify user needs and uncover potential areas for improvement.
- Manage participant recruitment and scheduling for research studies.
- Develop and implement interview scripts, concept testing protocols, usability study designs, and surveys.
- Moderate and document in-person and remote research sessions, including usability tests and interviews.
- Perform rigorous analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, synthesizing findings in collaboration with the product team and research lead.
- Generate detailed research reports with clear, actionable recommendations.
- Present research findings effectively through various mediums, including visual data representations, highlight videos, and slide decks.
- Travel may be required on an occasional basis.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in applied user research, with a proven track record of integrating user research into product design and process improvement.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
- Proficiency in a wide range of research methodologies, with the ability to select and apply appropriate techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt UX research processes to agile development environments.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision and adhere to deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with design and prototyping tools.
- Experience in the healthcare industry.
- Proficiency with Pendo, Mixpanel, or Salesforce software.
